Biography
James Buckhouse creates works in digital and traditional media. In 2002, he completed a commission for the Dia Center for the Arts in New York, which was selected for the 2002 Whitney Biennial. He has exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, and has given a preview of his collaborative work with New York City Ballet choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon, at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Works & Process series. He was the 2000 Visiting Artist at the Stanford University Digital Art Center. He received a B.A. in Visual Art from Brown University in 1996.
